Weekend Away

It's a bit late, but I went up to Asheville last weekend for the first time since mid February...last time I was there, it was covered in snow.  This time, it was covered in grass.  And cats!

Jeremy's apartment/cottage is above a small barn that houses small horses, and it has a big covered back deck with awesome views:

The mountain air is cold enough for a sweatshirt and hot coffee in the morning,

then the day gets hot enough for shorts and...Dad's favorite ice cream stand on Earth!

I don't have pictures of it, but we went mountain biking Sunday, then I played hookie Monday and we went and played a two hour game of disc golf in the woods.  On the way back we stopped for orange cream slushies at Sonic and saw this:

I couldn't resist!
