Probably because we don't go into the hinterlands of Virginia very often. If it's not within 5 miles of DC or on the coast I've never heard of it. If it's in Virginia, I suspect that they also have statues of Jesus and Moses walking with the critters.
Heh--yeah, and there really is another museum someplace with T-Rexes eating confederate soldiers...or maybe they're Yankees. And it's true, dinosaurs are more closely related to the modern day chicken than they are to alligators!
those pictures must have been taken, like, a hundred years ago! dinosaurs are extinctual! besides, they're all birds now - or so says sam.
