40th Birthdays

My friend Denise turned 40 today, so after eating a marvelous caprese sandwich in the sun on the front porch of DePalma's, Bones and I hurried to Party City and picked up a mass of 40th birthday balloons, then scooted to her house in the 75 degree weather and tied them to her unsuspecting railings:

She graduated high school the same year as Todd, and we're having an 80's themed party for her tonight.  I'm going as a Depeche Mode fan.  Stay tuned...
