Summer Fun

Well, this has been a difficult year for the Texas Paquettes, but we have all been finding comfort and humor in watching the kids enjoy their summer and so far, their summer has been great!

Here are Sam and Lily, anxiously trying to finish their lunches up during the last week of school and ready to bust through those doors and not return until they are 3rd and 1st graders.

Lily started summer off with a gymnastics meet:
Sam and Charlie really loved the gymnastics meet.

Next up, Sam did his very first Triathlon while Todd did a mud run. They honored the occasion with matching hair cuts (but fortunately for Sam, not matching facial hair). Sam did great and found a new sport that he loves.

We have all spent most of this summer hanging out at Sam's baseball games and we are proud to announce that the Dodgers won the World Series Championship Game. It was very exciting!


Of course we also celebrated Charlie's 4th birthday, which has been the highlight of the summer so far! We had a big pool party and lots of cakes...

and more cake...
For now, we are all getting ready for our summer cruise and hope you are all enjoying the 4th of July weekend!
