Todd was the best and attended all the school activities on Friday. First stop, "pumpkin carving with dads" for the kindergartners. I think Lily was just a little excited to show up at the cafeteria and see her dad waiting for her.

Happy Halloween
This past weekend was full of Halloween activities. Friday was costume day for Charlie, and Camouflage day for Lily and Sam (part of an anti drugs week - fighting to stop drugs, or something like that). The kids were really excited for school, although it was a challenge trying to get a picture to prove it and I think I may have threatened to cancel Halloween this year if they didn't all smile and cooperate, although I can't be sure.

Next stop, Halloween parade at Charlie's school. Charlie insisted on being Yoda again this year and looked just as cute as last year.
That night, we celebrated Ava's birthday and Charlie enjoyed a green monster cupcake.

Saturday was Sam and Todd's last soccer game of the season and we celebrated with a party...

and Sunday, was Halloween. Charlie had a last minute change of heart about his costume and decided he wanted to be Harry Potter, like Sam. Good thing for us we had an extra Harry Potter costume.
The kids went to a party with their friends, and then trick or treating. Overall, a good weekend. Unfortunately, now I'm eating all the candy...

Aw, did Lily draw the pumpkin face herself? Such a little face for a big pumpkin :) Charlie really seems to love cupcakes!! A local bakery here had special ones decorated like skeleton faces and bloodshot eyeballs...I just HAD to buy an eye. And the costumes look great! Amazing you just happened to have a spare Harry Potter ;)
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, and did Sam score a goal?? WOOO!!!
ReplyDeleteThe kids look awesome!!! Sam looks just like Harry Potter. And Charlie just looks so adorable I can't even stand it. How did you get a picture of Todd smiling like that at the pumpkin carving??? Oh, Lily looks adorable too!!! Hahaha :)
ReplyDeleteYes, they all look adorable...as always. I'm as curious as Alayna: how did you get a smiley face on Todd?? Thanks for the update...it's a little bit like being there.
