For Christmas 2009, I received a neat present from Alayna and Lauren. It was a certificate giving me my own grape vine at the Running Brook Winery in South Dartmouth for 5 years with a free bottle of wine for each of those years. A couple of weeks ago Mom and I visited the winery and sampled each of their (10) wines. Mighty generous samples I might add. And Good too! Then we drove out to the vinyard and tagged my vine and ate some (sour) grapes right off the vines. It was a beautiful day and the vintner was delightful. We bought an extra bottle. Thanks.
